External Collaborators
Unfunded partners (external collaborators [EC]) in this consortium have a strong and successful pre-existing track record of collaboration. Besides providing access to additional samples to optimize the power of follow-up and extension studies, and strengthening existing the various working groups within workpackages and task forces, ECs also enrich the domains of expertise represented in the consortium (EC6: Laboratory for Integrative Functional Genomics) and enable a unique multiethnic approach via extension to a large, new East Asian genomic study of brain imaging (EC7).
